Educational : i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University preferably in Science subjects. ii) Diploma in Russian Language from a recognized Institution / University or equivalent. B. Experience : One year experience in translation of technical documents from Russian into English and vice-versa. Desirable : i) Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Telecommunication or Production Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Bachelor’s Degree in Russian Language or equivalent from a recognized University or equivalent. Duties : Translation of Scientific and Technical documents and other materials from Russian to English and vice-versa pertaining to branches of ships, submarines and weapon engineering. Translation of operational indents raised on USSR for procurement of spare parts and stores. Interpretation in Naval Dockyards for rendering assistance to Indian Engineers in understanding Repair Procedures and Technology from the Soviet specialists. Correction and proof reading of drawings and typed manuscripts of translated text before reproduction.

Out of eighty-one posts, twelve posts(one permanent and eleven temporary) are reserved for SC candidates, six posts(temporary) are reserved for ST candidates & twenty-one posts(one permanent and twenty temporary) are reserved for OBC candidates. Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : a) Eighteen months’ experience in the manufacture of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule ‘C’ to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945; OR b) Eighteen months’ experience in testing of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule ‘C’ to the Drugs and Cosmetic Rules, 1945 in a laboratory approved for this purpose by the licensing authority ; OR c) Three years’ experience in the inspection of firms manufacturing any of the substances specified in scheduled ‘C’ to the Drugs and Cosmetic Rules, 1945 during the tenure of their services as Drugs Inspector. Duties : Duties and functions specified in Rules 51 and 52 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 include inspection of all licensed drugs manufacturing establishments, the plant and the process of manufacture, the means employed for standardizing and testing the drug, the methods and place of storage, the technical qualifications of the staff etc. which are likely to affect the potency or purity of the product, taking samples of drugs from premises of manufacturer / dealers for test or analysis, investigation of cases of spurious drugs and related complaints and launching of prosecutions for breaches of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules. HQ : Central Drugs Standard Control Organizations(CDSCO) Headquarters, Zonal / Sub- Zonal / Port Offices etc anywhere in India.
5.(Vacancy No.10081605128) Eight Specialists, Grade-II(Surgery), Junior Scale, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Central Health Service, Non-Teaching Specialist Sub-Cadre. Out of the eight posts, two posts are reserved for ST candidates & four posts are reserved for OBC candidates. Qualifications : Essential : i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956. ii) Post-graduate degree in the concerned Speciality i.e. M.S.(Surgery), M.S(General Surgery) Speciality Board of Surgery(USA), F.R.C.S. B. Experience : Three years’ experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining the Post-graduate degree. NOTE: I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the Medical Council of India. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached. NOTE: II: The experience gained should be recognized by the MCI or the statutory body concerned with the system of medicine as valid teaching experience for teaching posts and certificate therefor or any other valid proof in support thereof should be submitted. Teaching experience in any other post like the post of General Duty Medical Officer/Medical Officer shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to the teaching posts. NOTE: III: In the case of qualifications in Super-Specialities (M.Ch./D.M.) except in the case of holders of D.M./M.Ch. of five years duration, the holders should have obtained M.D.(General Medicine) or M.S.(General Surgery) or an equivalent qualification as prescribed by the said council in its recommendations on post graduate medical examination. NOTE: IV: In the case of holder of D.M./M.Ch. qualification of five years duration, the period of Senior Post Graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said D.M/M.Ch. shall be counted towards requirement of experience. NOTE: V: In so far as Post-Graduation Medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time. In case of medical posts other than allopathic system of medicine, the qualification should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached. NOTE: VI: Holders of speciality Board of USA qualifications should complete the entire requirements of the Board concerned. NOTE : VII : Completion of compulsory Rotating Internship Certificate, Registration Certificate, an official document showing name of College/Institution from where degree/diploma has been done and official document showing name of the University and College from where teaching experience has been gained to be furnished. Duties: To conduct and guide research work in the speciality. To render patient care in the speciality. Any other duties that may be assigned by the authorities from time-to-time. HQ : At present Andaman & Nicobar Islands, but liable to serve anywhere in India. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : The other conditions of service will be as laid down in the CHS Rules, 1996 and other rules in force from time to time in particular :- (A) Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice. (B) The candidate selected, if so required, shall be liable to serve in any Defence Service or post connected with the Defence of India, for a period of not less than four years including the period spent in training, if any, provided that such officer shall not: i) be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of 10 years from the date of appointment or from the date of joining the service. ii) Ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of 45 years.

B. Experience: Three years’ experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining the Post-graduate degree or five years’ experience in the speciality after obtaining Post-graduate Diploma. NOTE : I To VII : Same as in Item No. 5 above. Desirable : DMCW / DHE. Duties : To conduct studies and field investigations in the control of Communicable Diseases. To assist in Training Programmes undertaken by the Institutions. Any other duties that may be assigned by the authorities from time to time. Educational: i) Same as in Item No.5 at EQ (i) above. ii) Five years’ experience in the field of Occupational Health preferably in Mines and Factories. OR A recognized Post-Graduate Degree in Social and Preventive Medicine / Industrial Hygiene / Physiological Medicine / Occupational Health or equivalent with two years’ experience in the field of occupational health preferably in Factories or Mines. Duties : To carry out inspections / enquires as Inspector of Mines for enforcement of the provisions of Mines Act and the subordinate legislations framed there under with particular emphasis on welfare / occupational health measures for mine workers.

Qualifications: Essential: A. Educational: i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. ii) M.S. (Surgery) / MS (General Surgery) from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent. B. Experience: Ten years’ experience in the profession after acquiring post graduate qualification out of which four years should be as Reader / Associate Professor in a recognized Medical College / Teaching Institution. NOTE: I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidate should have the recognition of the Medical Council of India. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached. HQ: Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh with liability to serve in any of the Rural / Urban Health Centres of the Chandigarh Administration, if so required. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS: i) The candidate so appointed shall have to join his duties within one month from the date of issue of appointment letter. ii) Private practice of any kind, including laboratory and consultant practice will be strictly prohibited. iii) The candidate so appointed in the Institute shall not be allowed to apply for the post for employment outside the Administration for a period of two years from the date of joining the post.
