Spices Board is proposing selection and posting of Technical Assistants for field work attached to the offices of the Board located in the area having qualification of B.Sc. Degree [Agriculture/Horticulture/Zoology/Botany] with working knowledge in computer operation and aged not more than 30 years as on 1st November 2010. Their remuneration shall be Rs.8,000/- per month [consolidated]. Appointment of the selected candidates will be on contract and purely on temporary basis.
The walk-in-interview is proposed to be done for the Board’s offices located in Karnataka, as follows:

The remuneration will be Rs.8,000/- per month [consolidated]. Appointment of the selected candidates will be on contract and purely on temporary basis.
Preference shall be given to candidates who hail from the concerned districts/states/areas and who knows the local language.
They will be eligible for fixed rates of travelling allowance and daily allowance for the tours undertaken by them.
Other Terms and Conditions of the Temporary Employment
1. The temporary employment is for the financial year 2010-2011 only. The same person may not be eligible for employment during 2011-2012.
- If the Board is not satisfied with the service of the Outsourced Technical Assistant, the Board reserves the right to terminate the employment without showing any reason or any kind of advance notice.
- The Outsourced Technical Assistant must give a minimum of one month notice if he/she wishes to quit from the service of the Board.
- Leave admissible during the service period will be one day per month. For availing additional leave, pro-rata deduction will be made from the consolidated monthly remuneration.
- No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
- Candidates should bring the original and one set copies of certificates, regarding qualifications and knowledge in computer operation, and two passport size photographs at the time of the Walk-in-interview.
