Central Council of Indian Medicine "Ayurved Experts"

The Central Council of Indian Medicine is the statutory body constituted under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 vide gazette notifaction extraordinary part (ii) section 3(ii) dated 10.8.71.

Since its establishment in 1971, the Central Council has been framing on and implementing various regulations including the Curricula and Syllabii in Indian Systems of Medicine viz. Ayurved, Siddha and Unani Tibb at Under-graduate and Post-graduate level. Now all the Colleges of Indian Systems of Medicine are affiliated to various Universities in the Country. These Colleges are following the minimum standards of education and Curricula and Syllabii, prescribed by Central Council.

The main object of the Central Council are as under:-

• To prescribe minimum standards of education in Indian Systems of Medicine viz. Ayurved, Siddha, Unani Tibb.
• To advise Central Government in matters relating to recognition (inclusion/with drawal) of medical qualification in/from second schedule to Indian Medicine Council Act, 1970.
• To maintain a Central Register on Indian Medicine and revise the register from time to time.
• To prescribe Standards of Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Code of Ethics to be observed by the practitioners.

Applications are invited for engagement of qualified persons as per details given below for the office work of the CCIM on co-terminus and purely contract basis , initially for a period of three months which may be extended for the further period on requirement basis.

1. i)  Two Ayurved Experts Essential Qualification : i)  Post Graduate in Ayurved  from recognized University.

Essential Qualification :
1)  Post Graduate in Unani  from recognized University.
Desirable 
i) Knowledge of Computer  operation
Consolidated salary @ Rs.30,000/- p.m.
2     Four Retired Assistants
Age limit  
i) Not more than 62 years.
Qualifications
i)   Degree of a recognized University.
ii)  At least 05 years experience as a senior clerk or equivalent post in Govt./Semi Govt./  
      Autonomous/ Statutory Bodies.
iii)  Knowledge of Govt. Rules, Regulations and procedure and ability to do correspondence work
      independently.
Consolidated salary @ Rs.15,000/- p.m.
