| At the recommendation of the Thirteenth Finance Commission of India, the Administrative Staff College of India has established a Centre for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS). The Concept note and guidelines relating to CIPS can be seen at Annexure 12.13 to the Commission Report, which is attached below as a PDF file. This note includes, inter alia, the Mission & Objectives, as well as Functions of CIPS. |

| The candidate could be either from the government, public or private sectors; and if a civil servant, preference will be given to those who have received / have been nominated for the PM’s award for innovation and good practice. |
| The remuneration would be broadly at a level that is on par with the salary package enjoyed by a Professor of IIM, with some flexibility for negotiations by the Director General of ASCI.
