OUR INDIA OPERATIONS

In India, the Council operates as a division of the British High Commission. With offices in the four metros (New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai) and a network of seven British libraries, this is the Council's largest operation in the world.

OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Successful candidates are offered appointment on a fixed-term contract. The duration of contract is determined by the nature of the job to be filled. All offers of appointment are subject to satisfactory references and medical clearance.

HOURS OF WORK

Our staff work a five-day week of forty hours (including lunch break).
