Centre for Good Governance (CGG) Project Manager, Coastal Management Specialist, Risk and Emergency Specialist, Climatology specialist

Centre for Good Governance (CGG) is an autonomous society aiming to become a world class institution in Action Research for Good Governance and Change Management for Governance Reforms.

CGG invites applications for the following project-based positions. Hiring of suitable candidates is subject to project approval and funding. The details of the required qualification/skill set are as mentioned below:

Minimum Educational Qualifications: M.E. or M.Tech in Civil Engineering or Masters in Structural Engineering, Geology, or Ph.D. in Disaster Management

20 years of experience  in related work
Specific areas of expertise: Expert in Disaster Management, Geology, Remote Sensing, Hazard Mitigation, Disaster Preparedness and mitigation, Climate Change; community based disaster risk management

2.

Coastal Management Specialist

Minimum Educational Qualifications: Ph.D. in Geology with considerable knowledge in Remote Sensing and GIS applications in Disaster Management

Minimum 15 years experience in Coastal Management or related fields with specific reference to Disaster Management

3.

Risk and Emergency Specialist

B.E. or B.Tech with specific expertise in fire fighting, handling hazardous chemicals

Minimum 5 years experience in Risk and emergency management with reference to Disaster Management

4.

Climatology specialist

Minimum Educational Qualifications: Graduate in Geography or Physics or Environment

Minimum of 5 years experience in the field with specific reference to Disaster Management
