  1. Senior Administrative Officer - Pay Band (3): Rs. 15600-39100 and Grade Pay: Rs. 6600/- (Minimum pay in the pay band Rs. 18750/- + GP Rs. 6600/-)
  2. Dearness Allowance (DA) – As applicable to Central Government employees. Current DA is 35% of basic pay. HRA – 20% or Accommodation in campus (subject to availability of Quarters); Transport Allowance – 1600/- + DA as applicable; LTC,Medical facilities, Provident Fund etc as per Central Government norms.
    Gross approximate minimum pay on the scale – Rs. 41,453/- to 45000/-
    • Qualifications - Must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University and must have PG Degree in Management or PG Diploma in Management, with good Academic record throughout.
    • Minimum Experience - The candidate must have minimum 15 years (excluding apprenticeship, training and probation periods) of administrative experience in relevant areas, i.e., Administrative experience in a reputed Educational Institution/ Government Organization or Private Organization. Out of which minimum five years must be in administration in the next lower Group A Officer scale, equivalent or comparable to the scale of Administrative Officer drawing a pay band of salary Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-.
    • Age limit - Not exceeding 45 years on the last date fixed for receiving the application. Age relaxation as per Government of India norms will be admissible to SC/ST, OBC, PH and Ex-servicemen.
    • The person applying for the post should be well conversant with General Administration and with the GoI Rules, regulations relating to establishment, personnel, recruitment, implementation of GoI directives on reservation, Official Language Implementation, Right to Information Act, Purchase Procedure and Office Administration.
    The broad job profile would entail:
    • The person will be responsible for the management of support services, supervision of campus development and planning for future requirements, implementation, coordination and review of various academic and general activities of the Institute to improve the effectiveness of administrative support.
    • The person will handle all academic administration activities of Post Graduate Programme, Fellow Programme, Interactive Distance Learning Programme, Management Development Programme and Faculty Development Programmes.
    • Any other tasks, General Administrative responsibilities as assignment by the Institute.

  3. Stenographer Grade C - Pay Band (2): Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay: Rs. 4200/-
  4. (Minimum pay in the pay band Rs. 9300/- + GP Rs. 4200/-. Total basic pay: Rs. 13500/-)
    Dearness Allowance (DA) – As applicable to Central Government employees. Current DA is 35% of basic pay (likely to increase by 10% w.e.f. July 2010).
    HRA – 20% or accommodation (subject to availability of quarters; Transport Allowance – 800/- + DA as applicable; Rs. 1600/- + DA for Physically handicapped candidates; LTC,Medical facilities, Provident Fund etc as per central government norms.
    Gross pay on minimum of the scale – Rs. 22,005/-; Rs. 23,085/- for PH candidates (including HRA).
    • Qualifications - Must be a Graduate with 55% marks (Main and Subsidiary subjects) in any discipline and must have thorough knowledge of Computer applications in office.
    • Minimum Experience - The candidate must have eight years (excluding apprenticeship, training and probation period) of experience, out of which seven years must be in the next lower scale drawing salary in Pay Band 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- or equivalent from a reputed Educational Institution/ Private Organization or Government Organization.
    • Age limit - Not exceeding 35 years on the last date fixed for receiving the application. Age relaxation as per Government of India norms will be admissible to SC/ST, OBC, PH and Ex-servicemen.
    The incumbent will be responsible for managing Faculty/staff office work and the broad job profile would entail:
    • Taking and transcribing dictation of letters, memoranda, reports, and documents involving common business language, processing correspondence, proofing copy. Knowledge of Stenography would be an added advantage.
    • Maintaining clerical records and files; compiling periodic reports, record keeping and documentation functions.
    • Answering the telephone; sorting and distributing mail to proper sources.
    • Preparing and/or assembling materials for reports, etc., compiling and tabulating information as required.
    • Administrative and related functions.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, written and spoken English and Hindi.
    • Basic knowledge of Administrative functions and responsibilities.
    • Any other tasks, General Administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Institute.
    • Physically Handicapped candidates – Hearing impairment

      The deaf are those in whom the sense of hearing is non-functional for ordinary purposes of life. They do not hear; understand sounds at all even with amplified speech. The cases include in this category will be those having hearing loss more than 90 decibels in the better ear (profound impairment) or total loss of hearing in both ears.

      If physically handicapped persons are not available on the basis of general standard to fill the vacancy reserved for them, candidate belonging to this category will be selected under the relaxed standard of selection to make up the deficiency in the reserved quota, subject to the fitness of this candidate for appointment to the post.

      The PH candidates are required to produce medical certificates in the prescribed form issued by the Competent Medical Authorities for the purpose of employment.

      OR
      Must be a First Class BE/ B.Tech. in Civil Engineering and must have at least Three years post qualification experience (excluding apprenticeship, training and probation period), in reputed Educational Institution/ Private Organization or Government Organization.
    • Age limit - Not exceeding 35 years on the last date fixed for receiving the application. Age relaxation as per Government of India norms will be admissible.
    • The candidate must have computer literacy and exposure to CADD.
    • Must have experience in construction and maintenance of buildings in a large campus.
