The LNJN National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science is engaged in teaching/ training in the field of Criminology and Forensic Science. It proposes to engage seven Assistant Professors (purely on contract basis) on each in the subjects of Computer Forensics, Chemistry, Ballistics, Biology, Physics, Document Examination and Forensic Psychology as per the terms and conditions mentioned below. Geologists’ Examination 2010 by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC)

The Union Public Service commission will hold the Geologists’ Examination 2010 commencing from 4th December, 2010 for recruitment to Geologist (Junior), Group A and Assistant Geologist Grade-I, Group B in the Geological Survey of India and Jr. Hydrogeologists (Scientist B) Group A in the Central Ground Water Board. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.

Conditions of Eligibility
Age Limits: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st January, 2010. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must hold

  • Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a recognised University or
  • Master’s Degree in Mineral Exploration or

  • Diploma of Associateship in Applied Geology of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.
