Recruitment of Scientist & Stenographers in Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology(WIHG)

Applications are invited for the following posts:

Scientist 'C': 04 posts
Qualification: Ph.D. in any area of the Earth Sciences with first class at Preceding degree, preferably in Glaciology with four years post doctoral experience in the field of Glaciology with good academic record & publications in reputed journals.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/- + Grade pay: Rs. 6600/- plus admissible allowances
Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years as on 30.11.2010.

Scientist 'B': 04 posts
Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc./M.Tech /M. Phil in Geology/Earth Sciences/Hydrology/Meteorology/Physics/Chemistry or other allied subjects.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600–39100 + Grade Pay: Rs. 5400/- plus admissible allowances.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on 30.11.2010.

Stenographer Grade-I : 01 posts
Qualification: The applicants should be a Stenographer working in the Central/State Government departments/Universities/recognized Research Institutions and Semi Government, Statutory or Autonomous organizations
Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300–34800–Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- plus admissible allowances.
